Hi everyone, I am transferring my lease for a lovely twin room at Scape Berkeley 1 available from Nov 16th 2024 until July 9th next year (with possible contract extension discounted for Scape tenants). Rent is currently $369pw (higher than the website rate of $359pw but that can be negotiated with Scape manager)(all bills included) and bond is 4 weeks of rent. You will be staying with a male tenant (Master of Finance at Monash, currently working part-time at high-end grocery store and can sometimes hook you up with random expensive snacks). Room includes:
Air conditioning (so you don’t have to suffer in melb summer)
Dishwasher (no other student accom in melb has all AC + dishwasher + oven in one)
Baking oven + microwave oven (separate dw)
Full-size fridge with dedicated freezer (a lot of student accoms here just have hotel-style minibars so this is a big plus)
Short walking distance to Unimelb campus (even shorter if you study at FBE or The Spot building), RMIT campus is just 2 tram stops away. Nearby there’s also Woolworths metro, Aldi and Queen Victoria Market. 2′ walk to tram 19/59 stops and 5′ walk to Swanston St. trams into the city.

Board game room and mini cinema
Short walk to princes park and royal park (excellent for jogging)
Free access to Scape Berkeley 2 gym right outside the building. (really well-equipped imo, machines are always cleaned)
Free access to communal events in other Scape facilities (a lot of free food and drinks)
